Hello again!  It appears that I have FINALLY finished hacking my poor Keurig.  After much work it looks like it was totally successful!  I put all of the connections into a 15-pin d-sub connector to make things more modular and added a switch to switch between automatic and manual modes.  I would have preferred to do without the switch but due to the way some of the circuitry works it was necessary.  This next weekend I will be going home and will bring my arduino back to the dorm and start getting creative with my newly installed interface.  Once I get some basic code done I hope to eventually transfer the operations to an atiny chip so as to free up my arduino.  Below is a pic of the system all enclosed nicely!

Keurig B40 Disassembly!

Hey!  So for my first legit post, I made a video with some instructions on disassembly of a Keurig B40.  Once I get it all closed up I intend to install a timer and a system to make it so I only have to push one button in the morning and it will turn on the machine, "open" and "close" the machine, and select my brew size, because having to push 3 buttons is far too much..  Also I have plans make it internet-controlled so I can have some coffee brewing when walking back to the dorm on a cold night.  I intend to write a detailed followup soon with some high-quality pictures to help clear up anything that may have been fuzzy (or pixelated  in the video itself.

Hey Guys! So I have always wanted to get around to making a blog and posting some of my hacks and projects on it and I finally got the motivation to.  There is not much on here yet but I hope to change that!  Anywho, feel free to shoot me an email or tweet @jman0742 if you have any questions or comments or anything!
